I have lived with Multiple Sclerosis for the past 45 years. It started in my feet with tingling and numbness worked up to my legs and stopped at my waist. Thanks to good doctors, a very supportive family and wonderful friends along with a strong faith in God and, most importantly, a positive attitude, I have been a very lucky guy.
I am able to do most things and I always look forward to each day as a glass half full.
Over the course of the four plus decades, I have had many exacerbations and many downtimes, both physical and mental. Through it all, I know that “The Sun Will Come Out Tomorrow.”
I am also confident each day that new research and new medicines will bring better treatments for those with this disease. I firmly believe that there will be a cure in our lifetime and that the MS Hope Foundation will be an integral part in making that happen.
